Winter sports

In addition to the fantastic Alpine ski offers in the Präbichl area, the region is famous in particular for its excellent Nordic winter sports. Eisenerz is home to the Nordic training centre and numerous Nordic world champions have learnt their craft here.

The cross-country skiing trails in the Eisenerz Ramsau have been awarded the elite Styrian cross-country trail quality seal and can be used until late into spring. High quality activities are available in virtually every winter sport, from ski tours to snowshoe walks, sledging, ice skating, ice climbing and paragliding.
